niche social network

challenge: an international record producer and tour promoter came to us with a concept and wanted us to help fulfill his vision. he wanted to hold an international contest to form the next big latin pop band. this was to be an
online and offline event. contestants were able to audition online as well as in 17 different latin american countries.

solution: we built a custom, full-featured social network that allowed audition video uploads and member voting. the social network also lets contestants and finalists build their fan base. we created a marketing plan that included social media marketing, online marketing, and partnerships with international broadcast networks.

results: the website hosts thousands of audition videos and hundreds of thousands of members. it will be the hub during the contest and after. the second season of the contest is currently in the planning stages. with each successive contest, the site will grow in content and members.
